Boards is the status view of the same tasks as the list. Each column is a status. Moving a card changes that task's status. It does not copy the task.
Boards is a desktop view. On mobile web, My Tasks stays a list. See Mobile web and apps.
Open it from Boards on My Tasks or All Tasks. Quick chips, Filter, and Views work here the same way as on the list — see Saved views, filters, and columns.
Moving work
Drag a card from one column to another. The subtitle under a normal board reads: drag tasks between columns.
+ Add Task creates a task. Add it from a column when you want it to start in that status.
Select two or more cards and the same bulk edit menu appears as on the list.
Columns
Columns are your statuses, including any you created with Create new on a task.
- Add column creates another status column.
- Rename (or click the title) renames that status. Tasks in the column keep the status under the new name.
- Delete a column when you are retiring that status. Tasks that were in it move to Not started.
- Hidden columns lists statuses that exist but are not on the board. Choose one to pin it back.
Add column is unavailable in Rest mode.
Card fields
The visibility menu → Card fields toggles what a card shows:
- Due date
- Priority
- Project
Hiding a field hides it on the card. The task still has the value. Show it again from the same menu, or edit it in the list or in task details.
Capacity on the board
The adaptive interface changes the board the same way it changes the list: less on screen, same tasks underneath.

Tasks past the cap are not deleted. Switch mode and they are on the board again.
Common questions
Is the board a different set of tasks?
No. It is the same tasks, grouped by status. A filter or saved view still applies.
Why can't I drag?
You are in Rest. Switch to Ready, Flow, or Off.
Do board columns sync with the Status cell?
Yes. A status you create on a task can become a column, and a column you add is a status you can pick in the list.
