Onward keeps most of your work inside the product. The only integration documented here for all customers is Google Calendar.
Other connectors you may see in internal or early-access builds are not generally available — if you do not see them in Settings → Integrations, they are not enabled for your workspace.
Google Calendar
Connect from Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar, or open Calendar from the app sidebar after the feature is enabled.
What it does
- Connect one or more Google accounts and choose which calendars appear on Onward’s Calendar page and in Guide context.
- Toggle Show Calendar in navigation on the same settings page if the Calendar tab is hidden.
What it does not do (important)
- Onward events, focus blocks, and breaks stay in Onward unless you check Also add to Google Calendar on that item. The checkbox is off until you turn it on, and it only appears when a writable Google calendar is connected.
- Task due dates are not copied to Google. This is calendar context, not a project-management sync.
Troubleshooting
- Confirm Calendar is enabled in the integrations checkbox on that page.
- If calendar pickers fail after an app update, disconnect and reconnect Google once so list permissions refresh.
- Re-authorize if you changed your Google password.
- Still stuck? Contact support and mention Google Calendar (not other tool names unless support confirms they are enabled for you).
Coming later
Microsoft Outlook calendar sync is planned and shown as Coming soon in settings — not available yet.

What integrations does Onward support?
Google Calendar is the integration available to all customers today. Microsoft Outlook is listed as coming soon.
Does Onward have a public API?
There is no generally available public API. If you see API or connector options that aren't in Settings → Integrations for your workspace, they aren't enabled for you.
Can I connect more than one Google account?
Yes. Connect multiple accounts and choose which calendars from each appear in Onward.
Does Onward write anything to my Google Calendar?
Only when you ask. On a new Onward event, focus block, or break, Also add to Google Calendar copies that item to Google. The box is off until you check it, and it only appears when a writable Google calendar is connected. Task due dates are not copied. Routines stay in Onward. See Calendar.
Does Onward integrate with Slack, Asana, Jira, or Notion?
Not today. Google Calendar is the only generally available connector.
My Google connection stopped working.
Disconnect and reconnect from Settings → Integrations. This is also the fix after changing your Google password or revoking access.
