Team Health lives at Team Health in the sidebar (/team-health). It is meant for multi-person workspaces — the nav item may be hidden when you are solo or when your workspace does not have team access.
This is separate from Settings → Teams, which manages team groupings inside a workspace, and Settings → Workspaces, which manages membership and invites.
Teams inside a workspace
A team is a group of people inside one workspace — a client pod, a department — not a second workspace.
- Settings → Teams → Create a team. The sidebar also has Create team.
- Open the team. The hub has Tasks, Health, and Settings.
- Tasks is the same task list, limited to that team's members. On a phone or a narrow layout it stays a list.
- Settings → Add members from people already in the workspace. Remove someone from the team there. That does not remove them from the workspace.
- Delete team on Settings → Teams removes the grouping. It does not delete the people or their tasks.
Who sees what
| Role | Tabs |
|---|---|
| Workspace member (non-admin) | My share only |
| Admin / owner (team view enabled) | Overview, My share, Load, Recovery, Focus, Morale, Team Boosts |
Admins need enough eligible teammates sharing data before team-wide metrics appear. Several tabs show “Need at least 3 eligible teammates…” until the threshold is met.
Team aggregates are anonymized — not “leaderboard by name.” Your personal controls are under My share (and Settings → Privacy).
My share
Your contribution to Team Health:
- Choose sharing level: No sharing, Basic (counts only), or Detailed (full participation) — same concept as Privacy settings.
- No sharing: you are excluded from workspace aggregates.
- Basic: included in respondent counts and energy averages, not detailed drivers.
- Detailed: anonymized signals feed pulse, balance, bookends, and related drivers.
Members only ever see this tab; admins use it to manage their own participation too.
Overview (admins)
High-level team status, pulse, balance, participation, and trend charts. May include AI-generated suggestions when guidance is enabled and data thresholds are met.
Use See why / detail panels to understand the headline. Solo workspaces see copy that you are just you for now.
Load (admins)
Workload concentration and overload trends:
- Whether load is uneven across people or teams
- Completion velocity / overload signals
- Charts such as overload trend and load-by-team breakdowns when data exists
Primary CTAs may suggest logging a Team Boost (see below) when the product recommends a gesture.
Recovery (admins)
Recovery and breaks patterns for the team — e.g. meaningful breaks, recovery rates over the window. Tied to how people actually disconnect, not just task counts.
Focus (admins)
Fragmentation / focus meeting pressure — calendar coverage notes explain how much of the window has meeting load vs focus-friendly time. Helps leaders see structural focus debt.
Morale (admins)
Morale and balance trends — tier mix, balance trend charts, and morale drivers derived from anonymized wellness/task patterns. Complements pulse on Overview.
Team Boosts (admins only)
Team Boosts is an admin-only log of positive team gestures you plan or complete — thank-yous, food, outings, gifts, etc.
- Statuses: idea → planned → done (pipeline in the Boosts tab).
- All admins/owners in the workspace see the shared log.
- Regular members do not see Boosts at all.
- Edit/delete is limited to the creator of each boost entry.
- AI suggestions (when shown) are ephemeral prompts to pre-fill a boost — they are not stored until you save.
Boosts are culture/ops tracking, not compensation or HR records.
Invites and assignees
Invite colleagues from Settings → Workspaces. Use Assignee on tasks for ownership; Team Health does not replace project management.
Common questions
Why don't I see Team Health in my sidebar?
It requires a workspace with more than one active member. In a solo workspace it's hidden by design.
Can managers read my journal or mood notes?
No. Journal entries, reflections, and check-in notes are private to you at every sharing level. Team Health shows aggregated signals only — see Privacy and your data.
Can I opt out of Team Health?
Yes. Settings → Privacy → No sharing excludes you from team aggregates entirely, without affecting any feature you use personally.
Is Team Health employee monitoring?
No. It reports aggregated workload and wellbeing signals at the level each member chooses to contribute, with individual free text never exposed. Members can opt out.
What are Team Boosts?
An admin-only log of positive team gestures — thank-yous, food, outings, gifts — tracked through idea, planned, and done. Regular members don't see it at all.
Who gets the Team Health digest?
Workspace admins and owners, on Fridays. Configure it under Settings → Weekly snapshot — see Notifications.
