Whether it's in your official job title or not, you possess the most brilliant trait in the universe: creativity. A college anthropology professor of mine boldly stated that what made Homo Sapiens different from their ancestors was the ability to create (in their case, cave paintings) to reflect the human experience.

In a world of automated 'art' generation (we won't debate that here), it's important to remember that your unique creativity cannot be replicated. We promise.

Bite-sized knowledge

Put on your 'art goggles'.

They don't cost you a thing and the benefits are endless. While it may feel slightly silly, the scientific data to support the idea of simply shifting your perspective to lean more 'creative', even for a short while, significantly improves well-being and positive emotions.1

The concept known as "Aesthetic Engagement", intentionally looking for the beauty in our surroundings, is an underrated tool to help fight stress and boost your mood.

Give this a try

Take a 10 minute walk/break without your phone.

Your only goal is to find one visually interesting thing (a shadow, a piece of architecture, a color combination) and simply observe it for 30 seconds.
